Delcam’s five-axis CAM software opens new business opportunities
The addition of two CMS five-axis machining centres, programmed with Delcam’s PowerMILL CAM software, has opened new business opportunities for rapid prototyping and high-speed machining specialist Oxon Prototypes.

World-leading CAM specialist Delcam will be offering visitors to MACH exhibition the opportunity to use their CAM knowledge to win valuable prizes on stand 4010. Prizes to be won at the show, which runs from 21st to 25th April at the NEC, Birmingham, include a plasma TV, the new iPodtouch and VIP tickets to the UK A1 Grand Prix race and a round of the British Super Bikes championship.
To enter the competition, MACH visitors need to download an entry form from the web site www.delcam.co.uk/rules/mach.pdf. They then need to answer three questions to show their knowledge of the CAM industry and bring the completed form to the Delcam stand.
"The questions are not particularly difficult, so we are expecting a high number of correct answers,” predicted Delcam’s Marketing Manager Peter Dickin. "If we get more correct entries than there are prizes available, we will hold a draw from those entries at Delcam during the week following the show.”
"Of course, all visitors to the Delcam stand have the opportunity to be winners,” added Mr. Dickin. "As well as being able to enter the competition, they will be able to learn how they can increase their productivity and profitability with our award-winning range of manufacturing software.”
